16:03:38 <defionscode> I'll leave the meeting open through the end of the hour in case anyone wants to chime in with ideas/questions/etc
16:03:48 * defionscode waves at treyp
16:07:03 <Sicnus> Seems like there is an open floor... I wanted to say I appreciate all of what you guys are doing. I've finally learned how to actually use the tool properly... and guess what; it works. ;)
16:08:41 <Sicnus> I don't think I understood the idempotent concept when it came to the STIG playbook... and I was expecting it to run through the first time and work... Now that I grok how it works I was able to get our base image to 100% and am using it on other servers to remediate things. Thanks!
16:09:15 <defionscode> badass, im glad to hear it
16:09:40 <Sicnus> One last comment... are you guys or any of you going to be @ RHEL Summit in May?
16:09:56 <Sicnus> it would be cool to have a STIG meetup
16:10:34 <defionscode> as far as the MindPoint team, we wont be there, I cant speak for jamescassell who is a maintainer but not part of MPG formally
16:10:49 <defionscode> we were at AnsibleFest
16:10:53 <defionscode> and we will probably be at the next one (assuming IBM doesnt axe it)
16:11:28 <Sicnus> ahh. Yeah sadly I probably won't make it to AF because of our contract timing and approval.... :/
16:11:44 <Sicnus> They said I could do RH Summit so.... that's where I'll have to go.
16:15:23 <defionscode> c'est la vie
16:15:53 <defionscode> Sicnus do you guys use Tower/AWX or just the CLI?
16:16:03 <Sicnus> CLI
16:16:30 <Sicnus> I asked about Tower and they went... "LOL"
16:16:50 <defionscode> haha, well depending on org needs/constraints it doesnt always make sense
16:17:12 <Sicnus> Honestly, we're fine with CLI for our needs, we only have about 100 servers or so.
16:18:06 <defionscode> That's cool, Im not a RH employee anymore so I can say, if you're fine with CLI then you're fine with the CLI haha
16:18:32 <Sicnus> ;)
16:18:42 <Sicnus> Hey, I once had an @redhat.com email address too!
16:18:52 <defionscode> but there is AWX, which is free...so if the managers want charts/dashboards etc there is always that
16:18:53 <Sicnus> (but that's probably outside of the scope of this meeting)
16:19:34 <defionscode> i had that and an @ansible.com email address which wasnt deactivated until well after I left RH/Ansible
16:19:59 <defionscode> which was great b/c i def forgot to update certain web accounts i had with my personal email address
16:20:50 <Sicnus> :( Well... so... yeah.... I've had: @suse @linux.com @slackware @gnome @kde and hundreds of other email addresses LOL.
16:20:58 <Sicnus> I'm cool too man!
16:21:01 * Sicnus hides
16:21:10 <Sicnus> Never did have an @ansible though :(
16:21:57 <defionscode> haha that's cool
16:29:10 <defionscode> wrapping up the formal meeting in a couple of minutes unless someone has a topic
16:33:19 <defionscode> alright, that's a wrap
16:33:22 <defionscode> #endmeeting
