16:02:07 <pabelanger> #topic Core Updates
16:02:23 <pabelanger> #info Ansible dot released pushed to next week
16:02:58 <pabelanger> The core team was scheduled to do a series of dot releases this week, but due to a regression have decided to push things back for a week
16:03:10 <pabelanger> we should expect 2.8.2 then
16:04:23 <pabelanger> as a reminder ansible 2.9 roadmap has been released, please keep an eye out for when feature freeze it
16:04:26 <pabelanger> #link https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/roadmap/ROADMAP_2_9.html
16:05:02 <pabelanger> that's about it for core bits, lets move on to network
16:05:19 <pabelanger> #topic ansible-network
16:05:26 <pabelanger> #link https://github.com/ansible/community/issues/363
16:05:58 <pabelanger> #topic meraki modules
16:06:21 <pabelanger> mrproper doesn't appear to be around
16:06:47 <pabelanger> I know Qalthos looked at some of these last week
16:07:02 <pabelanger> but currently is off on PTO this week
16:08:06 <pabelanger> I think we just need to get some eye on these for code review, and see if we can get test results posted some place
16:08:32 <pabelanger> let keep moving on, and loop back if mrproper joins
16:08:53 <pabelanger> #topic avi modules
16:09:04 <pabelanger> #link https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/58382
16:09:11 <pabelanger> #link https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/57116
16:09:46 <pabelanger> unfortantely, I am unsure the irc handle of https://github.com/chaitanyaavi
16:11:00 <pabelanger> for 58382, using 1.1.1.1 for testing isn't the best case. Given that is a dns provider now
16:11:14 <pabelanger> but in general adding unit tests is great to see
16:11:20 <pabelanger> will leave some comments there
16:12:20 <pabelanger> avi_user seems to have some ongoing discussion, again will review and leave some feedback
16:12:54 <pabelanger> #topic cloudengine
16:14:06 <pabelanger> I don't see xuxiaowei0512 currently
16:14:56 <pabelanger> we need to confirm if he has reached out to ikan, jtanner or gdk. For now, I'll make note of that to follow up on ansible side
16:15:06 <pabelanger> #topic Open Floor
16:15:20 <pabelanger> that's all we had listed on the agenda
16:15:50 <pabelanger> if anybody else has something to bring up, we have a bit of time to discuss
16:17:03 <cyberpear> are all the network meetings this lonely?
16:17:23 <pabelanger> usually not
16:17:50 <pabelanger> I suspect humans in NA are getting ready for holiday next week :)
16:18:08 <cyberpear> Indeed. It's helpful that you give all the status updates despite the low attendance this time!
16:18:51 <pabelanger> yup
16:19:34 <pabelanger> so, on myside. I have been continue to work getting our pre-merge testing of network integration 100%. Things are working very well, so much that community members are helping debug test failures and add more testing
16:19:38 <pabelanger> so that is exciting to see
16:19:53 <cyberpear> awesome!
16:20:08 <pabelanger> now come the _fun_ part of stabilizing the tests, in some cases we are seeing random failures due to network time out, or state changes applinace side.
16:20:21 <pabelanger> some are bugs in ansible, others are updating tests to be correct
16:21:24 <pabelanger> but currently, testing for junos / ios / iosxr / ovs / eos / vyos are all passing on devel and stable-2.8
16:23:48 <pabelanger> okay, with that, we'll wrap early
16:23:56 <pabelanger> and pick things up next week
16:24:00 <pabelanger> thanks everybody
