The new schedule of one meeting per week will take effect starting the week of March 15. 19:06:43 great news on the beta! 19:07:50 thanks for the reminder sdoran , updating my calendar 19:08:08 There's a calendar feed you can subscribe to if that's easier. 19:08:14 * nitzmahone also needs to do that and update our internal "who's hosting the meeting?" sheet accordingly :) 19:08:33 Yey for date math in spreadsheets. :) 19:09:59 Here's the link to the `ics` file: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ansible/community/main/meetings/ical/core-team.ics 19:10:02 I've avoided the ICS before, because I only wanted a few meetings to show up, but I'm going to give it a try. Even when you mark a meeting as "free" in google calendar it's not so clear, and people tend to avoid booking those times, so it can really clutter it up. But I'm going to see how it goes.. 19:10:20 Calendaring is hard. :) 19:10:45 I had to read the ICS spec and manually edit that file to get it to do what I wanted. 19:11:20 😲 19:11:22 ... and you know there's some Mac or Windows calendar thing somewhere that's gonna barf on it anyway ;) 19:11:45 No no no, I _tested_ it. 😁 19:12:52 Oh, another FYI for today's core beta: we're doing things a little differently this release- we're not branching off 2.11 until we hit rc1 (planned for end of March IIRC) 19:13:39 So that means that most merges to devel will be deferred until we branch off 2.11 at rc1. 19:14:27 Without all the community module volume, we're anticipating that to be less of a hardship than it was in the past- it makes our lives easier since we're not having to backport bugfixes until we hit rc1. 19:14:40 The ICS is nice actually.. it comes in as a separate calendar, which I usually hate, but it works well for a bunch of meeting I may or may not actually attend 😁 19:15:22 briantist: yeah, that's exactly how I do it as well- the only annoyance is that meetings can reappear if you delete them 19:15:51 If no topics for open floor today, we'll close in 2 minutes... 19:17:11 ah, I'd just uncheck the whole calendar if I wanted to not see them, at least temporarily, but I can see that being annoying. For me, the thing is if I _want_ to block off time for one of these, I have to copy it to my own calendar, and then (I think?) it's no longer in sync? But that's a small issue 19:17:24 yep 19:17:34 (which is what I end up doing for the ones I'm attending and/or hosting) 19:18:18 #info no core meeting on March 9 due to contributor summit 19:18:24 (mattclay just reminded me) 19:18:58 I'll put that in the room topic and on the to-be-created March agenda issue as well 19:19:06 hrm, my calendar doesn't show any change in the meeting schedule 19:19:24 OK, we'll close for today- yay for quiet meetings... Thanks all, 'til next time! 19:19:26 #endmeeting
