20:00:10 <briantist> heyyy
20:00:14 <jborean93> hey
20:00:42 <jborean93> nitz is on PTO today so it's just me
20:01:19 <jborean93> #info https://github.com/ansible/community/issues/644 agenda
20:01:28 <jborean93> Nothing on the agenda so straight into an open floor
20:01:33 <jborean93> Anything you would like to talk about?
20:02:24 <briantist> cool, nah not much from me, thanks again for the KDC proxy stuff
20:02:42 <jborean93> you're welcome, did you end up going the SSSD configuration + DNS route?
20:04:53 <briantist> have tickets created for that internally, we will investigate it
20:05:02 <jborean93> cool
20:05:07 <briantist> that would be awesome, it would basically give full dclocator functionality to the linux servers
20:05:29 <briantist> workstations though might still need to need something else, we're looking at maybe enabling subnet prioritization on the AD DNS servers
20:05:54 <briantist> the non-Windows workstations, I mean
20:10:28 <jborean93> nice, hopefully it shouldn't be too hard
20:10:36 <jborean93> Having DNS just work in an environment makes Kerberos so much easier
20:11:27 <briantist> yeah for sure
20:12:09 <briantist> workstations are less critical though, if they kinit across regions because of round-robin DNS, it's not such a big deal, considering the volume
20:14:42 <jborean93> If there's nothing else I'll let you get back to your day
20:14:53 <briantist> right, sounds good to me
20:15:36 <jborean93> #endmeeting
