20:00:33 <briantist> hey
20:01:16 <nitzmahone> howdy
20:01:24 <nitzmahone> #info agenda https://github.com/ansible/community/issues/644
20:01:37 <nitzmahone> Nothing new, and not sure if Jordan's on yet, so
20:01:40 <nitzmahone> #topic open floor
20:02:40 <briantist> nothing new from me really, in a little bit of a crunch to get changes out in my collection, want to get some stuff in to do one last release before dropping 2.9/2.10 support
20:03:00 <nitzmahone> Yeah, we're really happy to put another nail in 2.9's coffin :D
20:03:22 <nitzmahone> Well, I'll wait until 5 after in case anyone jumps in
20:03:39 <briantist> I'll be happy to lower the concurrency in my CI, and remove the slowest jobs
20:04:06 <briantist> running tests in 2.9 takes like twice as long
20:04:25 <nitzmahone> Interesting- why is that?
20:05:04 <briantist> a small part of it pulling the much larger 2.9 test default test image that ansible-test uses, but mostly it's just because it's that much slower
20:06:50 <nitzmahone> Yay us I guess- I didn't think we'd done a lot of general performance improvements since 2.9
20:07:15 <nitzmahone> (a couple of very targeted things for specific use cases, so maybe you got one of those for free)
20:07:28 <briantist> from what I can tell, the gains from 2.10 forward are there, but minimal, the differecne between 2.9 and 2.10 are vast
20:07:48 <nitzmahone> Welp, sounds like nothing big for this week, so I'll close the meeting til next week. Thanks for stopping by!
