16:00:51 <geppetto> hey
16:01:29 <geppetto> tibbs: You still in new school year run around mode?
16:01:36 * coremodule lurks, waits for open floor...
16:02:43 <decathorpe> I'm already here o/
16:02:51 <tibbs> geppetto: It's calmed down a bit; lately I'm stuck in kernel-bug-breaks-NFS-panic-panic mode.
16:03:36 <geppetto> ahh, nfs

16:08:24 <tibbs> Was anyone else using the Fedora calendar .ics file for getting this meeting onto their personal calendars?
16:08:36 <tibbs> I find that simply stopped working at some point in the past.
16:09:23 <geppetto> interesting … I know that the Fedora CPE team are trying to get someone else to maintain the calendar
16:09:33 <geppetto> because they have no cycles to do anything with it
16:10:00 <tibbs> Yeah, I just don't know why I stopped getting the meeting's on my calendar.
16:10:05 <geppetto> I've used it in the past … but now I just have a direct entry on my calendar
16:12:11 <geppetto> #topic Open Floor
16:12:30 <geppetto> coremodule: We don't have quorum … so if there's something you want to bring up?
16:12:49 <coremodule> not even sure if this is the correct forum for my question...
16:13:01 <coremodule> but ill ask and if it's not, you can tell me to pound sand :)
16:13:57 <coremodule> the maintainer of the fedora electronics lab spin has not been in the fedora project since 2010... I started the unresponsive maintainer process on him a month ago, and then two days ago got a response saying he is no longer interested and hasnt been for years... and to take over his position
16:14:20 <coremodule> i would like to become the maintainer of the spin, so that it can get the love it needs, have packages removed, added, etc
16:14:37 <coremodule> but since i heard from him, its not technically "unresponsive maintainer"
16:14:44 <coremodule> so I'm wondering where to go from here...
16:14:48 <coremodule> ?
16:15:05 <geppetto> I figure when he says he's not interested anymore, that's the same thing
16:15:17 <geppetto> so I'd just follow the unresponsive maintainer process
16:15:56 <coremodule> great! that's what ill do then... Ill open a fesco ticket. thanks for the input.
16:15:59 <decathorpe> which should be easy, since you have "written proof" that he's no longer interested
16:16:12 <coremodule> ahh, even better
16:16:15 <coremodule> :)
16:16:19 <tibbs> Plus, if he says he is OK with you taking over then that should trump any bureaucracy anyway.
16:16:35 <coremodule> do you know if I would even have to go through fesco then?
16:16:35 * geppetto nods
16:16:57 <coremodule> or could I just ask him to add my FAS?
16:17:19 <geppetto> if he'll do the later, that's fine for the packages … not sure about the spin control though
16:17:39 <coremodule> gotcha... ill go through fesco to get control of the spin
16:17:42 <tibbs> Yeah, I don't know how spins work in that regard.
16:18:15 <coremodule> ththanks for the help.
16:18:22 <geppetto> no problem
16:18:30 <geppetto> Anything else from anyone?
16:19:33 <tibbs> I really haven't kept up for the past few weeks.
16:19:46 * geppetto nods … it's fine not much has happened
16:20:01 <geppetto> Same schedule for the meeting the last 3 weeks
16:20:30 <geppetto> I assume some of it is holiday season
16:20:36 <tibbs> Still need to work through all of the open tickets and make sure we're actually dealing with things.
16:21:22 <tibbs> I'm actually off today so I may have some time.
16:22:28 * geppetto nods … no rush, esp. as you are so busy otherwise
16:22:53 <geppetto> Ok, have your 35 minutes back :)
