15:17:25 <jlinton> Which I started looking at after flipping glibc to pac, and having a debuginfo extraction failure.
15:17:56 <jlinton> debuginfo seems to work most of the time, but there is something "special" in glibc that is causing it issues, as is the backtrace logic in the unit test.
15:18:23 <pwhalen> #info F33 has PAC/BTI enabled for rawhide but this is causing an elfutils build failure during 'make check' on aarch64
15:19:54 <jlinton> I also cleared up the gcc build flags question, (and will update the ticket RSN)
15:20:22 <jlinton> the glibc NEWS article is a bit misleading, if gcc is built with -mbranch-protection=standard it will achive what we want (and it is).
