15:00:37 <pwhalen> #topic roll call
15:00:48 <pwhalen> good morning folks, who's here today?
15:01:29 * jlinton__ waves
15:01:31 * pwhalen doesn't expect to have a quorum today
15:02:06 <pwhalen> howdy jlinton__ , pbrobinson is out this week
15:02:30 <pwhalen> did you have anything you wanted to discuss? New issues?
15:02:31 <jlinton> Yah, i'm still fighting with imagebuilder
15:03:04 <jlinton> (or was last week, it starts up after some tweaks, but never finishes building the images)
15:03:06 <pwhalen> ah fun, we have a few issues around it
15:03:22 <jlinton> although the problem with the graphics not being displayed is easily fixed
15:03:42 <pwhalen> how do?
15:03:45 <pwhalen> er, so
15:03:46 <jlinton> as I mentioned a few months ago, just adding "console=tty0 console=ttyAMA0" to the template command line
15:04:08 <jlinton> causes the console to switch back to graphics after it boots, so if something fails you get a screen grab
15:04:31 <pwhalen> was there a reason why it wasnt added?
15:05:10 <pwhalen> just wondering why wouldn't have that
15:05:21 <jlinton> I'm not sure if the official fedora builders do that, because i'm doing this all on my own machines (which is why none of it works for me, because the fedora packages/upstream seem to be out of date with whatever is actually running since they only understand <F29)
15:06:21 <jlinton> I'm not sure, I know when peter asked about it a few months ago I pointed out the problem is the ACPI spcr in uefi, but there really isn't an upstream fix that is correct short of just "forcing the builder" command line
15:06:32 <pwhalen> Ok, we also have this issue - rawhide cloud disk images failing on aarch64, imagefactory hangs on rebooting vm - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1871958
15:06:51 <pwhalen> getting a screen shot would be really helpful there too
15:07:53 <pwhalen> found this bug yesterday - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1874117
15:08:44 <pwhalen> hopefully get some more info later today to determine what hardware is affected and if this is a blocker
15:09:40 <pwhalen> which sounds like your "but never finishes building the images" issue..
15:10:43 <pwhalen> er, the first imagefactory bug sounds like your issue, or could be related
15:11:52 <pwhalen> jlinton: unless you had anything else I think we can close the meeting
15:12:47 <jlinton> No, let me check those bugs and add a comment about the screen (assuming that they aren't the same ones I already commented in)
15:13:12 <pwhalen> sounds good. thanks for joining
