15:03:39 <pwhalen> Already RC8, I've done some testing but not enough. Has anyone hit any issues?
15:04:38 <pbrobinson> I've tested on a handful of devices
15:04:48 <pbrobinson> no issues I'm aware of
15:05:07 <pwhalen> same, ok
15:05:08 <jlinton> Me too, there is a big locking bug we need to assure gets merged.
15:06:17 <pwhalen> oh, jlinton whats the status of the coresight patches? I noticed I'm still seeing backtraces in 5.11. Is that something for 5.12?
15:06:47 <pwhalen> jlinton: which locking bug? So I can keep track of it
15:06:54 <jlinton> I need to check the pull, but there should be a fedora specific patch to suppress the backtrace.
15:07:52 <pbrobinson> jlinton: got an link to upstream discussion on the locking bug?
15:08:12 <jlinton> https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tip/tip.git/commit/?h=locking/urgent&id=84a24bf8c52e66b7ac89ada5e3cfbe72d65c1896
15:08:14 <pwhalen> ok, I tested 5.11.12 and saw it still there
15:08:26 <pwhalen> thx!
15:09:39 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to the list or #fedora-arm.
15:09:51 <pwhalen> Any other kernel news or issues?
15:10:12 <pbrobinson> I'm sure there's lots.... but none of note in this context
15:10:23 <pwhalen> :) ok
15:10:25 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====
15:10:34 <pwhalen> #info uboot-tools-2021.04-1.fc34
15:10:34 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1737674
15:11:08 <pwhalen> pbrobinson fixed this over the weekend, so far looking good
15:11:16 <pwhalen> pbrobinson++
15:11:23 <pbrobinson> yes, so I finally got to the bottom of the bug, mostly was staring me in the face
15:11:36 <pbrobinson> fixed up a few other ancillary issues in the process
15:12:49 * coremodule is here, late
15:12:53 <pwhalen> Excellent. If people could take a few moments to test on all the hardware you care about that would be greatly appreciated.
15:12:56 <pbrobinson> so karma for that please
15:13:11 <coremodule> pbrobinson++
15:13:42 <pwhalen> #info Please test and add karma - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2021-6b01add75e

15:15:33 <pwhalen> #info List of final Blockers - https://qa.fedoraproject.org/blockerbugs/milestone/34/final/buglist
15:16:39 <pwhalen> With uboot fixed, I think we're waiting on shim and sddm before we'll see an RC
15:17:25 <pbrobinson> So I've mostly sorted out the Rockchips devices stuff now, there's a quirk there around the space before partitions but overall it's looking mostly decent for things like Pinebook Pro
15:17:47 <pbrobinson> I need to put together some docs for flashing that and will try and write that up in the next day or so
15:18:32 <pwhalen> awesome! Going to make a lot of people happy.
15:18:58 <jlinton> I hacked some docs for http(s) boot for the main fedora manual too, I need to clean it up a lot more or find someone who can write english before making the pull request.
15:19:13 <Rathann> I will be happy to test on my Pinebook Pro
15:20:41 <pwhalen> jlinton: nice
15:20:58 <pwhalen> Does anyone have any concerns for F34?
15:21:09 <pwhalen> issues not yet reported?
15:22:33 <pwhalen> #topic 5)  == Open Floor ==
15:23:01 <pbrobinson> jlinton: happy to review if you'd like feedback
15:23:24 <jlinton> Thanks
15:26:12 <pwhalen> ok, anything else for today?
15:27:07 <pbrobinson> not really
15:27:18 <pbrobinson> I suppose anything forward looking, F-35 etc
15:29:00 <pwhalen> likely add that to the agenda next week.. did you have something you wanted to mentioned?
