15:00:49 <pwhalen> #topic roll call
15:01:05 <pwhalen> Good morning folks, who's here today?
15:05:09 <coremodule> hey pwhalen, sorry I'm late
15:05:12 * pbrobinson o/
15:05:33 <pwhalen> no worries, good morning folks! lets get started
15:05:41 <pwhalen> #topic 1) ==== Stable Releases ====
15:05:52 <pwhalen> Any issues to discuss in our stable releases?
15:07:43 <coremodule> nothing from me
15:08:28 <pwhalen> I see a boot issue with Rock Pi4 on f36 on the mailing list
15:09:09 <pwhalen> Looks like Peter already assisted, ok, moving on
15:09:20 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Kernel Status ====
15:09:21 <pbrobinson> which is the same one as he bought up on F-37 too
15:10:10 <pbrobinson> it's possibly a kernel regression, but I've reproduced it with firmware changes, but he's using a firmware built by a different distro and their patches aren't open
15:10:45 <pbrobinson> but the fix is also an issue on F-37 for things like the pinebook pro, I filed it as a blocker
15:11:10 <pwhalen> right, I did see something similar on the rpi3, stopped roughly there during the boot. Rebooted and it worked ok
15:11:41 <pwhalen> Lets talks about it in the f37 topic
15:11:53 <pwhalen> #info kernel-5.19.7-300.fc37
15:11:53 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2058320
15:12:31 <pwhalen> I've been testing 5.19, but not this particular kernel. Not found any issues so far. Anyone else?
15:13:30 <pbrobinson> I've seen occasional issues with 5.19 on the nano
15:13:38 <pwhalen> with graphics?
15:13:47 <pbrobinson> the PCI doesn't come up so no network, nothing in the logs and a reboot and it works
15:13:47 <coremodule> I haven'
15:13:57 <coremodule> I haven't seen any issues on 5.19-3
15:14:01 <coremodule> but I haven't tested this one
15:14:47 <pbrobinson> coremodule: which devices have you tested with 5.19.x
15:14:57 <coremodule> so far, just rpi3
15:15:45 <pwhalen> #info kernel-6.0.0-0.rc4.31.fc38
15:15:46 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2050106
15:16:50 <pwhalen> Anyone looked at this one?
15:17:15 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to #fedora-arm or the mailing list.
15:18:16 <pwhalen> We should definitely test everything asap, looks like Beta doesnt have many blockers/issues.
15:18:24 <pbrobinson> not yet, but it's on my list
15:18:29 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====
15:18:41 <pwhalen> #info uboot-tools-2022.10-0.5.rc4.fc37
15:18:41 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2058828
15:19:40 <pwhalen> hot off the presses
15:20:13 <pwhalen> pbrobinson: does that fix the rockchip regression? or still needs testing
15:20:15 <pwhalen> ?
15:20:22 <pbrobinson> yes, so that has a fix for the PBP NVME issue
15:20:46 <pbrobinson> I might end up bumping it with a refresh on another patch
15:21:18 <pbrobinson> it also had fixes that aren't in the current stable build for the rpi400, but that was the prev build
15:21:27 <pwhalen> ok, so wider testing is needed on other devices so we dont have any other breakage
15:22:33 <pwhalen> #info This will likely be what ships with F37 Beta, please test and report any issues to #fedora-arm or the mailing list.
15:22:39 <pbrobinson> but I also didn't see much karma in the last build either so it would be nice to see some wider reported testing
15:23:07 <pwhalen> er, I cant remember if I added karma
15:24:18 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 37 status ===
15:24:33 <pwhalen> #info OpenQA Testing
15:24:33 <pwhalen> #info https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/overview?distri=fedora&version=37&build=Fedora-37-20220905.n.0&groupid=5
15:25:06 <pwhalen> testing from the wiki - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Fedora_37_Beta_1.4_Installation
15:26:46 <pwhalen> Looks like we need some testing results for real hardware, desktop
15:26:51 <jlinton> I guess I will fill a couple of those in over the next couple days.
15:27:20 <coremodule> I will work on that as well
15:27:22 <pwhalen> hey jlinton, thanks kindly
15:27:32 <pwhalen> and coremodule :)
15:27:34 <pbrobinson> I've tested a bunch of stuff, I did a bunch over the weekend
15:27:58 <pbrobinson> I'm seen a few bits I need to dig into a little
15:28:15 <pbrobinson> but nothing major that I've not already reported
15:28:39 <jlinton> Its probably time to put that udev rule in the wiki directly in the restool package too.
15:28:43 <pbrobinson> the rpi vc4 splat is fixed in 5.19.7, ATM .6 is the latest stable
15:28:55 <pwhalen> I did some testing last week as well but not on the actual RC's, so will redo and add some results
15:29:08 <jlinton> that way we can actually claim the networking works on the platform out of the box.
15:29:22 <pbrobinson> yep, I was going to reimage a bunch of devices with the RC
15:29:26 <jlinton> (well after the smmu commandl line/etc)
15:29:32 <pbrobinson> jlinton: I look forward to your PR
15:29:42 <jlinton> Yup...
15:32:06 <pwhalen> nice, last RC is complete with all aarch64 images included
15:32:22 <pwhalen> Anything else for F37?
15:33:02 <pwhalen> #topic 5) ==== Open Floor ====
15:33:31 <pwhalen> Anything else for open floor?
