I see more digging thru email in my future. ;( 18:19:36 <nirik> this may be related to the recent other tickets... caused by RH's SPF policy change. 18:20:09 <nirik> I have an internal ticket on that. it got a comment from someone working on it. Then nothing. Then, a comment that a Tier-2 person was working on it... 18:21:12 <phsmoura> ok, just changed tags and priority of this one 18:21:49 <phsmoura> lets go to releng tickets now 18:21:52 <phsmoura> #info https://pagure.io/releng/issues?status=Open 18:21:56 <nirik> sounds good 18:21:58 <phsmoura> we have 2 18:22:07 <phsmoura> .releng 10801 18:22:08 <zodbot> phsmoura: Issue #10801: ensure compose VM's have discard="unmap" to pass down FITRIM to keep images sizes smaller - releng - Pagure.io - https://pagure.io/releng/issue/10801 18:22:49 <nirik> low low ops and needs investigation 18:23:59 <phsmoura> done 18:24:07 <phsmoura> .releng 10800 18:24:07 <zodbot> phsmoura: Issue #10800: Need some packages for EPEL 9 - releng - Pagure.io - https://pagure.io/releng/issue/10800 18:24:45 <nirik> this is... not the way to do this. ;) 18:25:29 <phsmoura> haha was wondering the same thing.. so how can we deal with this ticket? 18:25:31 <nirik> please give them: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/epel/epel-package-request/ 18:25:36 <nirik> and close invalid... 18:25:46 <smooge> can I do it ? please please 18:25:59 * smooge is probably too eager on that 18:26:10 <nirik> heh. 18:26:12 <phsmoura> sure, go ahead smooge 18:27:40 <phsmoura> before we move to discussion/updates 18:27:56 <smooge> done 18:28:19 <phsmoura> #info tomorrow is the recharge day at red hat, so some Red hat people may not be around 18:28:34 <phsmoura> thanks smooge 18:28:49 <phsmoura> #topic Planning / Upcoming work / Discussion 18:28:58 <phsmoura> I have a question 18:29:08 <phsmoura> I intend to upgrade venus to pluto for fedora planet, both are ruby gems. I used ansible's planet role to provision a vagrant box ot see how things works, but it trhows an error because theres a task to install "venus" pkg with dnf. To work around that error I used the role on fedora-theme repo to install it, because it uses the venus repo from git 18:29:19 <phsmoura> Did I do anything wrong that dnf couldn't find venus pkg? 18:29:36 <phsmoura> sorry about the big msg BTW 18:29:56 <nirik> yeah, so the venus package isn't in fedora/epel... 18:30:07 <nirik> let me find a link, it's in our infra repos... 18:32:25 <nirik> https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org/repos-dist/epel7-infra/latest/x86_64/Packages/v/venus-bzrrev86-10.el7.infra.noarch.rpm 18:32:44 <nirik> and there's a srpm there somewhere too if you need to build it for something else 18:34:39 <phsmoura> but should the role be changed to not install it with dnf? 18:35:00 <nirik> no, we enable those repos so for us that works... 18:35:18 <phsmoura> AHh I understand now 18:35:42 <phsmoura> ok thanks, takes some time for me :) 18:35:50 <nirik> https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/blob/main/f/files/common/fedora-infra-tags.repo 18:36:08 <nirik> yeah, it's somewhat complex, but it all makes sense in the end hopefully. 18:37:02 <phsmoura> thanks, Im also using a f29 image cause it is the first one that has fedora messaging 18:37:10 <phsmoura> ans ansible install it 18:38:05 <phsmoura> another question nirik, do you know how to populate ssl_protocols and ssl_ciphers variables? 18:38:50 <nirik> so, check out the infra/ansible repo and do: 'git grep ssl_protocols' :) 18:38:56 <nirik> vars/global.yml:ssl_protocols: "+all -SSLv3 -TLSv1 -TLSv1.1" 18:39:02 <nirik> it's in vars/global.yml 18:39:19 <nirik> I use git grep all the time to find things 18:39:56 <phsmoura> thanks, I wasnt looking the whole ansible repo because I crated another dir to to this lab 18:40:04 <phsmoura> thanks :) 18:40:31 <phsmoura> anything else you all want to discuss? 18:41:27 <nirik> I got nothing. ;) everyone have a nice weekend! 18:42:45 <phsmoura> Ok then. Thank you all for attending and have a nice weekend :) 18:42:55 <phsmoura> #endmeeting
