18:08:28 <nirik> basically, I just increased how much traffic we could handle and added some more limits on things.

18:09:31 <nirik> I started thinking about firewalling, but the traffic was from legit servers mostly. The attackers were using those indirectly.
18:10:42 <nirik> But we should be able to handle a lot more now. 10000 connections from 1000 and are limiting requests per zone to a amount per time
18:11:12 <nirik> Hopefully this just never happens again, but we will see. We may have to look at moving to some provider for dns, but I hate to do that.
