I had no idea 15:44:51 yeah. my first foray into fedora contribution was on the docs team. after i'd been around a while we needed a new lead and i didn't hide fast enough :-) 15:44:58 the tasks might have not changed a lot but the approach definitely did. I've been active here for something over 5 years and I don't remember us ever observing a freeze deadline 15:45:00 hahaha 15:45:30 what i mean was the tasks on the schedule haven't changed. but it sounds like reality has diverged a lot :-) 15:45:41 yeah that's true 15:46:17 at least we managed to drop the relnotes package from release criteria, that's been a pretty big problem especially after we switched to asciidoc 15:46:49 yeah, relnotes was always a last minute hero effort to get packaged in time :-( 15:54:04 and changing the way docs are done every couple of years doesnt help people stay with it either 15:54:39 * bcotton will always have a soft spot for docbook 16:01:26 oh yeah, I miss docbook too :/ too bad the tooling around it was... less than great 16:01:27 anyway 16:01:28 #endmeeting
