Hey, Neil Hanlon , I'm not sure we've seen you here much before ... is there anything specific you are here for?
<@nhanlon:beeper.com>
16:16:43
Nothing in particular. I have been in prior meetings. Thanks :)

We don't have quorum, but I don't think we need it for: https://pagure.io/packaging-committee/pull-request/1360
<@james:fedora.im>
16:17:50
As long as nobody complains, I think we can just merge it and forget.
<@limb:fedora.im>
16:19:01
I concur
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:19:44
with fesco approval it seems like a rubber stamp from us
<@james:fedora.im>
16:22:49
I clicked the merge button
<@james:fedora.im>
16:23:26
The only other thing I can of have is: https://pagure.io/packaging-committee/issue/1367
<@conan_kudo:matrix.org>
16:23:51
uhh what does it mean by broken?
<@limb:fedora.im>
16:26:02
And no PR. Not super helpful.
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:26:10
lolwut
<@james:fedora.im>
16:26:36
yeh, I'm guessing there is a problem ... I do not know what that problem is though.
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:26:52
it's not often i feel like a simple "prs welcome" reply is justified, but it would fit in this case
<@limb:fedora.im>
16:27:26
How do you feel about The "Creating RPM packages" is broken?
<@james:fedora.im>
16:30:26
I did a comment ... hopefully it's nice enough.
<@james:fedora.im>
16:30:41
Now we truely are on open floor time, because I have nothing.
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:33:27
no action needed by fpc, but just for awareness, has everyone here seen the epel10 plan? https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/epel-10-proposal/44304
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:34:35
things are starting to ramp up, i have a demo in staging koji working well with the dist tag structure, and a few other pieces in progress
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:40:01
as far as i can tell, documentation for this will be self contained in the epel pages and won't need any changes to the wider fedora guidelines
<@limb:fedora.im>
16:40:02
I have now.
<@james:fedora.im>
16:43:19
Do we have a more precise about when c10s will go live, or epel-10?
<@james:fedora.im>
16:43:47
Do we have a more precise idea about when c10s will go live, or epel-10?
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:44:09
my expectation is that there will some kind of "open for contributions" c10 announcement very soon, and around nov/dec there will be something resembling a "release" announcement.
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:44:45
my goal is to have a similar epel10 announcement at the same nov/dec time, and possibly soft launch it a bit earlier for eager packagers to start adding stuff
<@james:fedora.im>
16:51:34
Cool. Anything else?
<@carlwgeorge:matrix.org>
16:52:57
not from me
<@limb:fedora.im>
16:54:03
Not I, said the duck.
