<@marmijo:fedora.im>

<@aaradhak:matrix.org>
16:08:43
I believe we discussed about this couple of weeks back. marmijo had expressed interest to investigate this further. Do we have any updates that needs to be discussed?
<@aaradhak:matrix.org>
16:09:41
<@aaradhak:matrix.org>
16:09:41
Action Item: The next step would be to investigate on the compatibility question. There was also a suggestion that we should be able to create the AMI in our normal flow by just appending the tpm support flag when we register the image.
<@aaradhak:matrix.org>
16:09:41
Also, this was the action item with regards to this issue

Also, this was the action item with regards to this issue
<@marmijo:fedora.im>
16:11:33
I did some initial investigation into this. It doesn't seem like TPM 2.0 would break older instance types unless we set the boot mode to "eufi-only", since some older instance types are BIOS only. Using "uefi-preferred" might be an option. Enabling TPM 2.0 on an AMI doesn't break compatibility with older instance types by default, but I still need to investigate further.
<@aaradhak:matrix.org>
16:13:29
Thanks for that update marmijo !
<@aaradhak:matrix.org>
16:14:29
May be we can bring this up again in our next meeting ?
<@dustymabe:matrix.org>
16:14:41
marmijo: if that's the case would you want to open a PR to make that change?
<@aaradhak:matrix.org>

Besides this error that Nemric mentioned, we just had Huijing problems to switching stream from stable/testing to next.
<@ydesouza:fedora.im>

And I also had a problem with OS extensions, but we already had a issue for that.
