<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:02:52
Hi wcrobert, pwhalen and jlinton
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:03:31
Well let's jump right in!
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:03:36
!topic 1) ==== Previous Release ====
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:03:39
!info Fedora-39-20240604.0
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:03:48
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:03:57
Does anyone have anything F39 specific? I do not.
<@wcrobert:matrix.org>
15:04:09
no
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:04:47
Okay, moving on.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>

!topic 2) ==== Current Release ====
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:04:54
!info Fedora-40-20240604.0
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:05:01
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:05:29
I booted the latest F40 ARM image this morning with no issues found.
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
15:06:06
coremodulethe cloud image?
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:06:41
No, I was going to talk to you about that pwhalen. I can never find the actual ARM image openQA results. Back when you ran this meeting, where did you find them?
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:07:13
Maybe we don't run openQA on the nightlies?
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:07:19
*specifically for ARM?
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
15:07:38
We don't have nightlies for the current release, just rawhide
<@jlinton:fedora.im>
15:08:23
This is always the latest, right? https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/group_overview/5
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:08:24
Duh. Yeah, you're right. So I use the ARM cloud results in the meeting as a placeholder. I updated to the the latest and booted that this morning with no issues.
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
15:08:48
yea, the cloud results are useful to see whats going on
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
15:09:19
Jeremy Lintonyes
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:09:24
Jeremy Linton: yes, that list is the correct one.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:10:08
Bill Roberts: Did you get the issue you had a few weeks back filed and sorted out? I can't remember exactly what it was but didn't personally see the bug report.
<@wcrobert:matrix.org>
15:10:43
yes
<@wcrobert:matrix.org>
15:10:44
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2282603
<@wcrobert:matrix.org>
15:11:16
I need to update the spec file against the rpm lint output still. But I think some of the lint reports the old package had as well
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:12:57
Good, okay, glad it's filed and it looks like Benson took care of the review.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:13:33

15:15:14
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:15:41
There is a new uboot-tools released as of last week, testing on it would be great. I'll try to test the jetson nano with it.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:16:05
pwhalen: do you know what changed in this latest bootloader?
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:18:37
We'll move on, we can come back to this if needed.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>

15:18:48
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
15:19:27
coremoduleapologies, I was afk. I am unaware of any change
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:19:53
Scrolling through rawhide test results, it looks like there might be an issue with Blivet.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:20:08
pwhalen: no worries, cool.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:20:17
Otherwise rawhide looks pretty goo.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>

!topic 6) ==== Open Floor ====
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:21:37
Alright all, any other topic we should discuss today?
<@jlinton:fedora.im>
15:22:35
I think its probably time to make some noise about how people aren't remembering to open excludearch bugs if they excludearch arm
<@jlinton:fedora.im>
15:23:19
stumbled on julia the other day, which didn't have an excludearch bug opened when the package maintainer flipped it to x86 only and disabled the arm builds a couple years back.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:25:35
That sounds like a mailing list thing, maybe on devel too.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:25:43
Both the ARM and devel lists.
<@jlinton:fedora.im>
15:26:09
Yes
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
15:29:16
Alright all, thanks for attending, I'm going to close it out!
