**fedora-infrastructure #12541** (https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/12541):**Issues using dnf failing on 503 errors getting mirrors from 18.159.254.57 and 2a05:d014:10:7803:f774:4d7c:e277:a457**
<@james:fedora.im>
19:01:56
I guess low / med / done ?
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:02:22
yeah, this was proxy36...
<@james:fedora.im>
19:02:29
Ahh, it's got low / high ... just still has needs review. My bad.
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:02:39
I took it out of dns over the weekend. It ran out of disk space... again.
<@james:fedora.im>
19:02:46
Want me to close it or change to something?
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:03:05
we can just close this I think, as phsmoura is reinstalling those (and there's another ticket on it I think)
<@james:fedora.im>
19:03:48
New new releng tickets (or maybe you did them in the releng meeting today?)

19:04:25
We did go through a number of releng tickets earlier
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:05:36
So, I now have access to mgmt in rdu3... will be poking at that this week. Hopefully friday we get external net there and vlans/ports after that. So, hopefully next week we can start bootstrapping up things and then installing things. Then, openshift clusters, then move some things...
<@james:fedora.im>
19:06:59
Cool. How do you want us to make sure you don't try to do too much yourself? ;)
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:07:34
a few issues are poping up when reinstalling proxy35.. now it cant find fedoraproject-sync script.. solving those now would make easier to reinstall next proxies I hope
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:09:07
😀 yeah... so I am gonna rope Gwmngilfen into helping this week with firmware setup (he's off today, it's a holiday there). I think once I get a minimal setup bootstrapped there I could really use help looking over things to see what we can move before the june switcharoo. Likely those will involve pr's to switch things or the like... I have somewhat of a list in the hackmd doc, but perhaps we can start going through that more after next week.
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:09:46
phsmoura: oh, that sounds new. I thought the excludes.conf was the only issue. I suggested in noc that we look at perhaps changing that Include to a IncludeOptional if we can identify exactly what file(s) that is.
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:10:12
whats the exact thing it's complaining about now?
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:10:41
Destination directory /usr/local/sbin does not exist
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:11:50
probably it can copy the template because the dir doesnt exist? will check after meeting
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:12:19
is this a f42 instance?
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:12:45
huh, no, doesn't matter, that should be in the filesystem package...
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:12:48
Hrm, shouldn't that be part of the `filesystems` package?
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:12:50
```
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:12:56
steve@bitfall:~$
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:12:56
filesystem-3.18-36.fc42.x86_64
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:12:56
steve@bitfall:~$ rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/local/sbin/
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:13:03
yes, it is
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:13:03
yeah
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:13:43
Does the account have write access to the location?
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:14:28
The only other random thing that comes to mind is if it is running in a container it's possible it's not mounted in, but that's a long shot I think
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:14:31
pretty strange. Not sure what could cause that...
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:14:52
perhaps pastebin the entire failure play in case there's any other clues?
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:15:17
running as root
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:15:37
sure, if Icant solve it will pastebin
<@james:fedora.im>
19:18:01
I kind of hate to say it ... but maybe worth looking for SELinux denials?
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:18:36
shouldn't be, but I guess doesn't hurt to check
<@smilner:fedora.im>
19:18:45
True
<@james:fedora.im>
19:18:52
Or something weird with bin and sbin merge that ansible doesn't like?
<@james:fedora.im>
19:19:16
But both feel like random shots in the dark ... so probably better for NOC later ;)
<@james:fedora.im>
19:19:43
And on that note, if there's nothing else I'll close 10m early.
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:20:10
sounds good. 👍
<@james:fedora.im>
19:20:45
Okay, thanks everyone. See you tomorrow.
