It's always a good day when there are no new tickets ;)
<@james:fedora.im>
19:02:33
I spoke to the bot ... nothing exciting. Hopefully push some docs soon.
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:02:36
so, I'm working on the communishift cluster upgrades right now, then back to ansiblizing my anubis setup for stg.pagure.io... then if I have time catch up on bugzilla and more tickets...
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:03:00
docs work would be good to do while it's somewhat quiet. I have a bunch of in progress stuff I should work on and push
<@james:fedora.im>
19:03:09
I assume nobody has hit anything new/weird on the anubis pagure?
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:03:19
nothing I am aware of
<@smoliicek:fedora.im>
19:03:25
nothing here
<@james:fedora.im>
19:03:28
Also do we know if it's caught/stopped anything?
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:03:38
well, fedora-messaging isn't working, I guess I should make sure thats not related, but I can't image it would be
<@smoliicek:fedora.im>
19:03:38
ill work on docs over the weekend
<@smoliicek:fedora.im>
19:03:41
hopefully
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:04:11
James: oh yes. Look in the journal there (although mostly because it has a robots list and blocks known crawler ips without even a challenge)
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:05:35
also, this is interesting: https://github.com/TecharoHQ/anubis/pull/1038
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:06:09
and this is a fun read: https://anubis.techaro.lol/blog/2025/cpu-core-odd/
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:06:59
Im searching for spam samples... found some, but not much... after that will produce a report about false positives using AI to detect spams and Im also replying people on discourse
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:07:46
phsmoura: yeah, since we delete spams from archives that makes it tough. ;(
<@nirik:matrix.scrye.com>
19:08:35
you may be able to look at old lists that have a bunch of spam in them (because they allowed non subscribers to post), I know we closed those to posting, but there might still be spam there.
<@james:fedora.im>
19:11:59
There are a few "forgotten" moderation queues too, so if you could get access to those they'll be close to 100% spam.
<@james:fedora.im>
19:12:31
Eg. post by non-member goes to moderation queue, and then 10 years ago or so people just stopped looking at the queue.
<@james:fedora.im>
19:13:19
Apart from that ... people have to have samples on the internet ;)
<@phsmoura:fedora.im>
19:14:23
thanks Ill take a look at those
<@smoliicek:fedora.im>
19:15:50
if that's all, i think we can end the meeting
<@james:fedora.im>
19:16:42
Okay, see you tomorrow.
<@james:fedora.im>
19:16:48
Vit Smolik: Thanks for running!
