   1. Current status is getting collections fixes into 2.9 so that ansible-test sanity passes (Qalthos, 16:05:24)
   2. you can see PRs fixing sanity failures in the various collections repos, but they generally depend on ansible/ansible#70015 (Qalthos, 16:06:33)
   3. Also incoming are documentation updates of various stripes, mostly around ensuring that deprecated modules are represented correctly in 2.9 (Qalthos, 16:07:48)
