15:06:27 <lalatenduM> just one liner is fine :)
15:06:39 <SurajD> Hello, Guys my name is Suraj Deshmukh, I have joined the team two weeks ago, started working on atomicapp :)
15:07:13 <lalatenduM> SurajD: welcome again :)
15:07:30 <ccaf> Hi Team, Shubham here. First day today. Making a move from SysOps to OSAS, hope everything goes well! :)
15:07:35 <lalatenduM> tuxdna: good to see you here
15:07:38 <preetic_> Hi all, I am Preeti, I will be joining Bexelbie in documentation.
15:07:51 <tuxdna> Hi guys, I am Saleem Ansari. I joined today, and I have been a Fedora contributer earlier.
15:07:56 <lalatenduM> welcome folks
15:08:18 <lalatenduM> lets start the meeting
15:08:22 <tuxdna> I am looking forward to exciting stuff in OSAS :-)
15:08:40 <lalatenduM> tuxdna: you should introduce yourself :)
15:08:54 <praveenkumar> lalatenduM: he did :)
15:09:10 <mzee1000> lalatenduM: should I as well?
15:09:17 <tuxdna> lalatenduM: I could repeat it again ;-)
15:09:21 <praveenkumar> mzee1000: go ahead.
15:09:24 <tuxdna> mzee1000: yeah
15:09:27 <lalatenduM> tuxdna: somehow I missed that , never mind
15:09:40 <lalatenduM> mzee1000: sure
15:10:10 <mzee1000> Hi all, I am Mohammed Zeeshan Ahmed, and I joined on 18th of January. Looking forward to make a difference in the community
15:10:21 <lalatenduM> So here are the topics for todays disscussion https://titanpad.com/adbmeeting
15:10:53 <lalatenduM> #topic Delivery methods of ADB @bex
15:10:57 <bamacharan> Hi I am Bamacharan, joined this team recently. Started looking into Atomicapp, nulecule adb.
15:11:10 <lalatenduM> awesome :)
15:11:27 <lalatenduM> lets move ahead with the topics
15:11:49 <lalatenduM> I thinbk bexelbie is in Fosdem, so we should skip the first topic
15:12:10 <lalatenduM> we can disscuss on that when he is back
15:12:20 <praveenkumar> yes please, move to next topic
15:12:50 <lalatenduM> #topic Automated tests for nulecule-library examples on ADB - @dharmit
15:12:59 <lalatenduM> dharmit: are you around
15:13:04 <dharmit> Yes Lala
15:13:57 <lalatenduM> dharmit: do you have any update about the CI
15:13:58 <dharmit> I dropped a mail to container-tool@ regarding the topic. And based on the discussion there, we're deferring automated testing of nulecule-library examples till Dusty and Charlie are back from the conferences.
15:14:13 <lalatenduM> ok
15:14:24 <dharmit> For now, I have started working on https://github.com/projectatomic/adb-atomic-developer-bundle/issues/195 which is very closely related to the topic.
15:14:49 <lalatenduM> dharmit: ok
15:14:57 <dharmit> I am in process of getting an account on ci.centos.org. In the meanwhile, I am playing around with Jenkins on local setup. That's it.
15:15:10 <lalatenduM> dharmit: are you aware of these tests https://github.com/redhat-developer-tooling/openshift-vagrant/tree/master/cdk-v2/tests
15:15:31 <lalatenduM> dharmit: looks like you dont have any blocker
15:15:51 <dharmit> lalatenduM: no, not really. I just saw it mentioned on the etherpad. Will take a look at it. But can you give a gist about what you'd like me to look at in there?
15:16:00 <dharmit> Yes, no blockers atm.
15:17:06 <lalatenduM> dharmit: I think it has some tests for the OpenShift provider , not sure how much of it applicable to us
15:17:35 <lalatenduM> But we should take a look and evaluate
15:17:44 <dharmit> lalatenduM: Okay. Will take a look.
15:17:58 <lalatenduM> cool, moving to next topic
15:18:04 <lalatenduM> #topic OpenShift origin image caching @praveenkumar
15:18:09 <lalatenduM> praveenkumar: ^
15:18:15 <praveenkumar> I still have to follow-up with rtnpro and bstinson about image-caching once they are back from conferences/meetings.
15:18:55 <lalatenduM> praveenkumar: ok, I think kbsingh also going to give us some plans
15:19:13 <praveenkumar> lalatenduM: beta-4 release is done last week and currently working on adb-utils.
15:19:45 * kbsingh is on a train.. but jus saw the ping here
15:19:47 <lalatenduM> yes
15:19:59 <kbsingh> did you guys see my email re: openshift in centos from last week ?
15:20:07 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: yes
15:20:17 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: you mean the paas SIG?
15:22:11 <praveenkumar> kbsingh: we are more interested for openshift images availability to consume from CBS (build pipeline stuff).
15:22:28 <lalatenduM> I think kbsingh's network might not be consistant as he is travelling now
15:22:28 <praveenkumar> No blocker from my side.
15:22:50 <lalatenduM> praveenkumar: yes, I think the paas sig might do that
15:22:51 <kbsingh> praveenkumar: what are you going to put inside the container ?
15:24:21 <kbsingh> lalatenduM: yeah, its a bit latency driven at the moment, feel free to move on if you prefer.
15:24:32 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: praveenkumar lets disscuss this outside of meeting as we are running out of time
15:24:38 <praveenkumar> yes, we will have discussion later with kbsingh.
15:24:44 <lalatenduM> movinbg to next topic
15:24:50 <lalatenduM> #topic open floor
15:24:54 <kbsingh> so, lets have another meeting for a meeting :)
15:24:56 <praveenkumar> yep agree.
15:25:03 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: yes :)
15:25:15 <kbsingh> surely talking about things is slightly more important than just ticking the had-a-meeting-for-30-min box ?
15:25:33 <kbsingh> but i'm easy.
15:25:34 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: agree
15:26:06 <lalatenduM> we might want to extend our meeting time to 1 hour :)
15:26:41 <lalatenduM> Does anyone have topic for open floor?
15:26:59 <kbsingh> yeah, i have a topic
15:27:03 <kbsingh> lets talk about openshift
15:28:16 <praveenkumar> Sure, I think bstinson created a card for whatever we discussed in last meeting.
15:28:46 <praveenkumar> kbsingh: I think you have access to that trello card, can you check once.
15:28:53 <lalatenduM> praveenkumar: ahh, I am not aware
15:29:00 <kbsingh> those are orthogonal things
15:29:17 <kbsingh> the infra that comes up wont solve a content problem
15:29:47 <kbsingh> its taken a long time to get the openshift folks engaged in a way that we might get to content delivery, if that is something you guys care about - i would highly recommend engaging on that side
15:30:06 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: agree
15:30:18 <kbsingh> w.r.t the pipeline, its only the front UI that's had some work done and bstinson's feedback on that was that its not yet complete or usable for user content
15:31:12 <kbsingh> just on the infra side, we might cut scope on the pipeline and focus on the ui, the src->bin, and delivery for the first step
15:31:31 <kbsingh> and then add in the testing, introspection, lifecycle stuff down the road when we can get some more people to help
15:32:00 <kbsingh> and better engagement with the various upstreams doing work in those areas ( for many, its itself undefined upstream, and getting user stories engagement is tricky )
15:32:18 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: completly agree
15:32:32 <kbsingh> whereas the ui, the src->bin and bin-> container part is fairly well oiled at this point
15:33:11 <kbsingh> tl;dr - if you care about openshift, bring your user story to the paa-sig, help in the delivery part you care about ( an openshift container set? )
15:33:19 <kbsingh> paas-sig even
15:33:36 * kbsingh wont take up any more time
15:34:00 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: yup
15:34:30 <lalatenduM> kbsingh: you can expect this group to patricipate in the paas SIG
15:35:53 <lalatenduM> for others here is the mail thread https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-devel/2016-January/014272.html
15:36:12 <praveenkumar> #link https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-devel/2016-January/014272.html
15:36:14 <lalatenduM> The disscussion is happening in CentOS-devel mailing list
15:36:56 <lalatenduM> I think at this point praveenkumar and me should get in to discussion with the SIG folks to produce the openshift origin docker images
15:37:18 <praveenkumar> yes agree on that.
15:37:25 <lalatenduM> Anything else on this topic
15:38:02 <praveenkumar> nothing from my side
15:38:16 <lalatenduM> #action lalatenduM and praveenkumar to participate in Paas SIG
15:38:36 <lalatenduM> cool, if we dont have any other topic we can close this meeting
15:38:40 <lalatenduM> going 1..
15:38:58 <lalatenduM> going 2..
15:39:17 <lalatenduM> 3
15:39:20 <lalatenduM> #endmeeting
