   2. The current status of this is: lawyers have been asked about the privacy law implications, but so far they have just had more questions (mattdm, 18:40:31)
   3. hoping to get that resolved this week (mattdm, 18:40:37)
   4. there definitely is a design possiblity which doesn't use any generated identifier, so nothing that could be interpretted as a session cookie (mattdm, 18:41:24)
