    2. INFO: Triaging this ticket with `?/needs vote` since Red Hat Legal [provided an official opinion](https://forge.fedoraproject.org/council/tickets/issues/460#issuecomment-531608) on this issue. The ticket has been pending since July 2023, and there is no reason why we cannot vote on this matter now and seek closure here. (@jflory7:fedora.im, 14:18:43)

AGREED: (`+5`/`0`/`-0`) After receiving input from Red Hat Legal and the recommendation given to the trademark counsel at Red Hat/IBM, we agree to reject the change to the Fedora logo licensing because it creates ambiguity and has a messy intersection with trademark law, which is not as "settled" matter for open source like copyright law. Since the relicensing of the logos does not have a discernible impact on our outputs, deliverables, or work as the Fedora Project, we reject this proposal for changing the licensing of the Fedora logo assets at this time.
