<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:06:28
I really don't like how you can't copy/paste multiple links at once with Matrix/Element...
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:07:31
It looks like the oversize issue is fixed
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
16:07:40
On the Rpi 4, https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-20c5181331
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:08:00
adamw bring up a point on the RPi bug, that RPi400 isn't explicitly supported, but in my head, it's the same as an RPi4... Thoughts here?
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
16:08:10
It appears the Rpi400 has other issues though, this didnt fix it for me
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
16:08:44
Right, its a flavour of the 4. Can be argued either way :D
<@jforbes:fedora.im>
16:09:24
While I get the "isn't explicitly supported" I don't think you won't find a user who doesn't equate it with the 4 and expect that it is
<@jlinton:fedora.im>
16:09:27
Different wifi, breaks a few things, etc.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:11:47
Alright. I've added my thoughts to the bug. Consider adding yours to support/deny the RPi400.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:11:53
Anything else for 40?
<@jforbes:fedora.im>
16:12:47
While I get the "isn't explicitly supported" I don't think you will find a user who doesn't equate it with the 4 and expect that it is

<@jforbes:fedora.im>
16:13:49
I haven't seen too much aarch specific in kernel bugs recently, which is good.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:14:09
This is good news!
<@jforbes:fedora.im>
16:15:18
There might be some issues with llvm 18 in rawhide, but not positive yet because the test machines for x86 didn't have the latest update yet
<@jforbes:fedora.im>
16:15:39
But since we don't build with that by default it isn't a real problem
<@jforbes:fedora.im>
16:16:56
Also worth noting, I am out basically starting Thursday, I will be out for a good month, and then only part time for a bit after that as I recover. I expect 6-8 weeks before I am back full time
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:17:41
Thank you for your work here jforbes. I hope you have a quick and painless recovery.
<@pwhalen:fedora.im>
16:17:47
jforbesspeedy recovery and we look forward to your return!

Peter Robinson very good at getting kernel issues addressed if need be. Agusto Caringi who is doing stable builds will be a good contact as well in my absence
