I called the module plus-plus-service 14:21:36 (well, the package is called that way, the module has underscores) 14:21:47 so no pps? :) 14:21:57 * pingou ducks 14:21:59 to much risk of conflicts ;-) 14:22:14 we can always rename it later :) 14:22:19 (thought not in pagure, granted) 14:22:41 yeah well, explicit is better than implicit and all that ;-) 14:23:01 lol plus-plus-service 14:23:05 i like it 14:23:11 plus-plus-service++ 14:23:15 Alright, I'll push the code and we'll see how that goes :-) 14:23:21 ++ to plus-plus-service++ 14:23:30 plus^4 14:24:05 "+^4" is a rather cryptic name, I wish it was legal ;-D 14:24:13 heh 14:24:29 * pingou looking forward seeing this 14:24:41 alright, that's all 4 me. 14:24:46 :) 14:24:52 atelic: news on your side? 14:25:04 Sure 14:25:42 So this past week I updated hubs api unittest to test for redirection regarding logged out accesses and a couple other misc. unittest changes. That big unittest fpr is merged into develop now. 14:26:20 I implemented feed widget in React and spent lots of time spent responding to review, fixing conflicts, setting up directory structure. That's now merged into develop and hopefully will be a good starting point for others taking up front end endeavors 14:27:04 sweet 14:27:10 I also wrote up two blog posts from experiences this past week regarding React and Flask: http://ericbarbour.me 14:27:13 I've been trying to get it running since this morning but FAS is getting on the way :( 14:27:28 This coming week I don't have a whole lot of hubs things on my plate so if anyone has something they need me to look into I'm happy to help out. 14:27:39 pingou: what's going on there? 14:28:25 pagure.issue.comment.added -- duffy commented on ticket fedora-hubs#57: "PlusPlus Widget" https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/57#comment-3475 14:28:50 atelic: timing out :/ 14:28:59 atelic, wondering if you could pick up abompard's plus-plus-service work when he goes on vacation 14:29:05 what do you think pingou, abompard ^^ 14:29:13 mizmo: loving it :) 14:29:18 if abompard is on board 14:29:21 noone's gonna drive my truck. 14:29:23 just kidding 14:29:38 lol 14:29:39 pagure.issue.comment.added -- radhikamani88 commented on ticket fedora-hubs#57: "PlusPlus Widget" https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/57#comment-3476 14:29:44 yeah sure 14:29:58 coolio, so there you go atelic more hubs for your plate :) yum! 14:30:11 pagure.issue.comment.added -- duffy commented on ticket fedora-hubs#57: "PlusPlus Widget" https://pagure.io/fedora-hubs/issue/57#comment-3477 14:30:16 pingou: I remmember having issues with timeouts before and they just kinda resolved on their own? Hopefully won't be an issue once sse is moved to fmn 14:30:25 atelic: so there would be two parts: a) help abompard finish the server and b) update zodbot to make use of it :) 14:30:41 atelic: so looking forward this :) 14:30:43 mizmo: pingou: abompard: sounds good! glad to have a hubs plate :) 14:31:01 I hope you like my ingredients :-) 14:31:03 14:31:16 (oh the meeting with l10n team is tonight, lol, glad i looked at my calendar) 14:31:21 so I'm gonna go before skrzepto as otherwise he will spoil everything :D 14:31:30 hehe :) 14:31:35 I finally finished the FMN re-arch 14:31:40 \o/ 14:31:57 this lead to a rather lengthy blog post detailing the changes and how we're performing: 14:32:01 http://blog.pingoured.fr/index.php?post/2016/06/24/New-FMN-architecture-and-tests 14:32:31 and just today, I started looking into the effect of the distributed lock we're using in redis: https://paste.fedoraproject.org/385884/67123614/ 14:32:56 it does explain a little of the perf degradation we're seeing, but not everything
