Is this something I need to set up in matrix or in my fedora account?
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:02:54
coremodule: is our expert
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:03:56
You have to login to Matrix through the Fedora portal, let me find the link...
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:04:27
thanks coremodule
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:05:19
lets get started, and if you can share that link when you find it, much appreciated

Thank you! All these newfangled technologies...

!topic 1) Working Group
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:07:30
I don't have anything for working group.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:07:47
Nothing from me.
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:08:14
We had some minor edits to our docs to cover some troubleshooting tips. I think the intention is to have a generic ostree section in the fedora docs eventually
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:09:14
We will need to dig in prior to beta and get some of the new features documented. Perhaps a FAD (Fedora Activity Day)
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:10:06
!topic 2) Fedora 39 - Stable
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:10:28
I could help with a FAD

<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:10:52
coremodule: that would be great!
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:11:35
Let's bring it up next week to work out when is best, hopefully things have settled down and we have everything enabled
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:12:02
Sure, I've added it to my list
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:12:08
thanks!

16:13:10
Testing still in progress but looks as expected
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:13:52
!topic 3) Fedora 40 - Rawhide
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:14:54
We've had no new composes due to a storage issue. it should be resolved now, but made some other changes to the configs and broke it. Looking at that now
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:15:24
So we should have a compose later today.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:15:37
Sweet!
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:15:55
I wanted to mention for F39, I ran the compose through the 6.7 kernel test day with no issues.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:16:14
I think it was the 20240122 compose, but anyway, it worked as expected with the 6.7 kernel.
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:16:32
sorry, I'm out of order here, reporting on f39 in the f40 section...
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:17:13
We also have a number of iot specific issues that are being worked on now, so hopefully we can get the reporting in openqa fixed

<@pbrobinson:fedora.im>
16:19:26
the schedule has been updated so n it won't be delayed from there
<@pbrobinson:fedora.im>
16:19:33
it was originalyl the 7th I believe
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:19:43
thanks.
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:20:20
The IoT changes look to be accepted
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:20:41
I think they just need the final approval stamp

Just want to get a Test Day in the works, should we do it after branch but before Final, or after Final?
<@pwhalen:matrix.org>
16:25:20
Looking at the schedule, I think shortly after Beta freeze(Feb 27th) ? By then everything should be in and working
<@coremodule:fedora.im>
16:25:49
Cool, I'll work out a date right around there and get it booked.
