15:00:28 <pwhalen> good morning folks, who's here today?
15:00:39 <coremodule> good morning pwhalen, I am here
15:01:01 <condor21> Morning!
15:01:16 <pwhalen> g'mornin coremodule, condor21
15:01:35 * pwhalen gives it a couple of minutes for others to join
15:04:16 <pwhalen> ok, lets get started
15:04:25 <pwhalen> #topic 1) ==== Userspace Status  ====
15:04:32 <pwhalen> Any new issues?
15:04:52 <coremodule> I've been on pto for a while, haven't seen anything, but haven't tested anything either
15:04:58 <coremodule> :)
15:05:02 <coremodule> useless, I know
15:05:59 <pwhalen> Hope you had a good break, welcome back :)
15:06:14 <pwhalen> #info [abrt] gnome-shell: cogl_texture_get_gl_texture(): gnome-shell killed by SIGSEGV

15:07:23 <pwhalen> This one is an accepted blocker for us, will check it today with updates, new kernel and update with the requested info there. Last comment says its looking like a driver issue
15:07:58 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Kernel Status ====
15:08:07 <pwhalen> #info kernel-5.14.1-300.fc35
15:08:07 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1827908
15:08:29 <pwhalen> Landed late last week, could use some testing all over. Not sure if we
15:08:54 <pwhalen> *we'll be shipping with this or the GA kernel
15:09:14 <pwhalen> #info Please test and report any issues to the list or #fedora-arm.
15:10:11 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== Bootloader Status ====

15:10:21 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1825997
15:11:14 <pwhalen> Can also use some testing, currently we have RC2 included for F35 beta
15:11:36 <pwhalen> #info grub2-2.06-5.fc36
15:11:36 <pwhalen> #link https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=1825964
15:11:53 <pwhalen> This is in updates-testing right now
15:11:59 <pwhalen> #info Fixes kernel alignment issue on AArch64 but breaks 32-bit arm (BZ#2000756).
15:13:19 <pwhalen> If others can test on 32-bit arm (or aarch64), it would be greatly appreciated.

15:14:47 <pwhalen> Has anyone had issues with either uboot or grub2 not mentioned?
15:16:16 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 35 Beta ====

15:17:18 <pwhalen> We have the accepted Nano blocker I mentioned earlier, coremodule- do you have a Nano?
15:17:46 <coremodule> pwhalen, yeah, I can do some testing
15:18:21 <pwhalen> Nice, thanks. Just trying to remember what hardware you have.
15:18:26 <pwhalen> #info Accepted Blocker - [abrt] gnome-shell: cogl_texture_get_gl_texture(): gnome-shell killed by SIGSEGV

15:19:02 <pwhalen> We have a nasty bug, but not sure if its a blocker or not. Of course it affects the Raspberry Pi family
15:19:14 <pwhalen> #info sdhci_setup_cfg: Hardware does not specify base clock frequency
15:19:14 <pwhalen> #link https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1999180
15:19:25 <coremodule> oof
15:19:51 <pwhalen> This was introduced by the last firmware, we reported the bug upstream, its been confirmed but not fixed.
15:21:12 <pwhalen> From my testing, the RPi3 on AArch64 is most affected, tosses the errors, loads grub then sits at a black screen for a long time before it boots
15:21:28 <pwhalen> Some SD cards dont work and it falls back to pxe booting
15:22:22 <pwhalen> RPi3 on 32-bit seems ok, as does the RPi2. RPi4 aarch64 works fine
15:24:13 <pwhalen> Not sure if its a blocker because- it does work- just takes an excessive time to boot, seems to only affect the RPi3 on aarch64 and isnt fixed upstream yet.
15:24:21 <pwhalen> coremodule: what do you think?
15:25:42 <coremodule> I think it could be, I know we have blocked on excessive time to boot in the past
15:26:01 <coremodule> let me find an example. I think we actually have (perhaps a basic?) criterion on that...
15:26:20 <coremodule> definitely worth proposing, I can do that
15:26:37 <pwhalen> Agreed, but we have no fix for it either.
15:27:35 <coremodule> itd be worth having more eyes on it at the meeting so that perhaps we can encourage upstream a bit
15:27:59 <pwhalen> I wanted to discuss it here before I proposed it.
15:28:50 <pwhalen> We had one person test the last nightly, he usually tests on the RPi3 and didnt note any issues with it.
15:29:06 <pwhalen> coremodule: could you perhaps test and see how it works for you, update the bz
15:29:36 <pwhalen> jlinton: you here by chance?
15:32:01 <pwhalen> ok, seems not.
15:32:38 <pwhalen> Has anyone has issues with F35 testing not yet mentioned?
15:32:44 <coremodule> pwhalen, yes, I will test it today and update the bug, but I would suggest proposing it, even if we don't have a fix ATM
15:34:53 <pwhalen> coremodule: thanks. Will do.
15:36:38 <pwhalen> #topic 5)  == Open Floor ==
15:36:48 <pwhalen> Anything else for today?
15:37:03 <pwhalen> condor21: did you have something you wanted to discuss?
15:37:56 <condor21> Not really. I will soon though.
15:38:48 <pwhalen> OK :)
