19:11:39 <phsmoura> #topic Planning, Upcoming work and Open floor
19:12:14 <phsmoura> nirik, what would be the next step for fedora planet?
19:13:09 <nirik> so, I was hoping to get back to rhel9 upgrades, but... our fedora_koji volume is really close to full, so I will be working on that today I guess. Also, a new koji release happened, so I need to look at upgrading today or tomorrow, and a new rpm-autospec also, and might as well apply updates to builders.
19:14:35 <nirik> phsmoura: I think next would be splitting it up so that there is a cron and a webserver that share storage/content... then the cronjob can update the feeds and the webserver can serve it. :) After that I think the next thing is being able to pull feed config from fasjson... we have a blog field in the account system, so we want to use that... then I think after that we could look at moving to staging and ask people to look at it
19:15:18 <nirik> Make sense?
19:17:44 <nirik> we may have to talk to abompard about fasjson. We might need to add a endpoint so we can query 'all user blogs from users that are contributors' without having to go one by one
19:17:45 <phsmoura> so the pod should have a cronjob updating the feeds?
19:18:30 <nirik> yes. Take a look at the bodhi app, it has a thing adamw added just recently that does this same kind of thing... a cronjob that updates the content and shares storage with the other pods.
19:19:13 <nirik> https://pagure.io/fedora-infra/ansible/pull-request/1295 was the PR for that.
19:20:14 <phsmoura> Cool, Ill take a look at that. Didnt understand the fasjson part, but one step at time
19:20:43 <nirik> fasjson is just a api service we run that lets people query the accounts.fedoraproject.org data. :)
19:21:48 <phsmoura> yep, I just didnt understand how it connects with planet
19:23:18 <nirik> well, right now, planet runs on fedorapeople.org and people just make a ~/.planet file... thats where we get all the feeds, by scraping all those files. BUt... the new account system has a profile box for 'blog/website'. We want to switch to that because then people don't need to know how to login to fedorapeople and edit some .planet file... ;)
19:24:16 <phsmoura> make sense
19:26:25 <phsmoura> I think we can close right?
19:26:57 <nirik> yep. I don't have anything more. ;)
19:27:08 <phsmoura> thanks nirik :)
19:27:10 <dherrera> I want yo así smth :)
19:27:23 <dherrera> Wops, autocorrect
