18:17:52 <nirik> this part I think is just a script that uses rsync against all the proxies list it has to pull logs over.
18:18:04 <nirik> but I see some of them are failing, but not sure why.
18:18:45 <smooge> basically the older script used to just try to rsync down the last 3 days of files from all proxies to hosts/proxyX/<year>/<mon>/</day>/http/ but that was not working all the time
18:19:19 <smooge> after i left I think nils wrote a script to be smarter about things but I haven't looked at what it does

18:21:46 <smooge> yeah. roles/web-data-analysis/files/sync-http-logs-and-merge.sh is what cron calls to do every day
18:22:33 <nirik> 31, 35, 36 are all failing in various ways.
18:22:35 <smooge> that in turn calls roles/web-data-analysis/files/sync-http-logs.py which relies on the hosts listed in roles/web-data-analysis/templates/sync-http-logs.yaml.j2 to know what to sync
