14:01:55 <asaleh_> .hello asaleh
14:01:56 <nils> mkonecny++
14:01:56 <zodbot> asaleh_: asaleh 'Adam Saleh' <asaleh@redhat.com>
14:02:11 <siddharthvipul> Good day everyone
14:02:16 <mkonecny> nils: It's out already, nice homemade bread :-)
14:02:21 <asaleh_> mkonecny, damn, should bake more bread :)
14:02:48 <nils> Before baking bread, we need to procure yeast.
14:03:02 <mkonecny> Due to covid, I bake something almost every day :-)
14:03:05 <siddharthvipul> did I miss a couple of calls/meeting lol
14:03:06 <nils> There's a bloody yeast shortage over here (at least in supermarkets).
14:03:11 <siddharthvipul> can't understand anything going on
14:03:28 <mkonecny> Ok, let's start
14:03:29 <mkonecny> #topic Item needing reviews
14:03:45 <siddharthvipul> nothing to me, but I saw a PR on tbs that Kevin and I reviewed
14:03:54 <lrossett> nothing from me, my tls pr was reviewed and merged
14:03:55 <siddharthvipul> someone else can check once and merge it?
14:04:14 <asaleh_> siddharthvipul, link?
14:04:25 <mkonecny> https://github.com/fedora-infra/anitya/pull/906 Add new properties to Anitya schema
14:04:58 <siddharthvipul> oh nevermind, cverna merged it. I didn't get notification
14:05:00 <siddharthvipul> wrong alarm
14:05:03 <siddharthvipul> asaleh_: ^
14:05:17 <mkonecny> No change in schema itself, just add few more properties
14:05:32 <nils> nirik++ thanks for reviewing ansible#44
14:05:32 <zodbot> nils: Karma for kevin changed to 10 (for the current release cycle): https://badges.fedoraproject.org/tags/cookie/any
14:05:55 <nils> nothing to be reviewed from me
14:07:59 <mkonecny> #topic Work In Progress
14:08:23 <mboddu> Nothing from me on review side
14:08:46 <siddharthvipul> so I am trying to package some python packages, but curveball is I also have to do it python2 stuff for epel7 (for CentOS Infra). I am getting build failures on epel devices (probably because the package itself is in python3? and it's slightly possible that it can't be built from python2.. but before making this conclusion, I am trying to see if there is any luck) :(
14:08:51 <lrossett> I started working on documenting koji-crd usage
14:09:01 <mkonecny> Still working on the Mbbox koji-builder CRD and doing some work on the-new-hotness when koji-builder PR is blocked
14:09:32 <nils> #8455 "Move mailman to newer release of Fedora or CentOS", working through the stack of mailman3/hyperkitty packages
14:09:34 <mboddu> Fedora Minimal Compose is moving along slowly, we hit some issues with /srv/odcs and seems like its fixed now. So, we should be good *for now*. Once its done, we will work on deploying merging it with message bus.
14:09:49 <nils> and discussing what to do about the pytest sitution on EL8
14:10:00 <nils> (which is related)
14:10:11 <mkonecny> lrossett: So you started to write the documentation for koji-hub?
14:10:23 <lrossett> yes
14:10:33 <asaleh_> still working on refactoring tests for mbox-operator, but finally progressing because the local tests no longer fail for me (thx lrossett for the hint with periodically pruning docker images)
14:10:39 <lrossett> I am going to review tour pr as well
14:11:04 <mkonecny> .thanks lrosset
14:11:07 <mkonecny> .thanks lrossett
14:11:09 <lrossett> *your
14:11:16 <mkonecny> .thank lrossett
14:11:16 <zodbot> mkonecny thinks lrossett is awesome and is happy they are helping! (Please also type lrossett++ since that is what gives them a cookie)
14:11:31 <mobrien[m]> Apologies I missed the start, working on 8436 which is the AWS volume cleanup. Script is nearly ready.
14:12:04 <mkonecny> It's nice to have someone with AWS experience in the team
14:13:22 <mkonecny> #topic Blockers
14:13:27 <lrossett> no blockers
14:13:32 <mkonecny> Is anybody blocked by anything?
14:13:49 <mkonecny> Like some roadblock or something?
14:13:58 <nils> nothing external, just a couple of build deps standing on each other's toes :)
14:14:21 <mkonecny> nils: Is there anything we could do to help you unblock?
14:14:53 <nils> mkonecny, nah, it's just plain packaging work. I feel like a stack machine :)
14:15:04 <asaleh_> w.r.t. gettin cluster for mbox-operator testing, seems like it is not on bstinson's priority list, but he at least knows we'd like to have it within week or two :-)
14:15:49 <mkonecny> asaleh_: Could you update the ticket?
14:16:00 <asaleh_> mkonecny, ack
14:17:00 <mkonecny> So last topic on the way
14:17:01 <mkonecny> #topic Questions
14:17:30 <mkonecny> Any question that could be answered by sustaining team or Mbbox team?
14:19:24 <nils> Maybe.
14:19:42 <mkonecny> nils: Go for it
14:20:06 <nils> Re: #8455, I'm building all of the packages in my own COPR namespace, do we have a COPR group alias?
14:20:46 <nils> Also generally, would probably be good to put packages to the group rather than individuals. Do we have something like that?
14:20:54 <mkonecny> I'm not sure
14:21:41 <mkonecny> But this makes me thing about another question: Do we want to use packit for automatic packaging?
14:21:46 <nils> It's okay if we can't answer that here :)
14:22:39 <nils> Do we have in-team experience with it, packages that use packit for packaging?
14:23:28 <mkonecny> nils: Don't think so, but they already have GitHub app, so integration on GitHub should be easy
14:23:59 <mkonecny> I'm using part of packit in the-new-hotness
14:24:18 <mkonecny> But this is not how it should be officially used
14:24:36 <mkonecny> also ttomecek is really helpful with everything around packit
14:24:39 <nils> "part of" sounded like it wouldn't ;)
14:25:16 <mkonecny> Just part that is creating PR's against dist-git, not whole packaging workflow
