14:05:00 <pwhalen> who's here this morning?
14:05:12 <tdawson> Hi
14:05:42 <pwhalen> howdy tdawson, just waiting a few minutes for others to join
14:05:53 <tdawson> Yep
14:06:29 <alciregi> .hello2
14:06:31 <zodbot> alciregi: alciregi 'Alessio Ciregia' <alciregi@gmail.com>
14:06:52 <coremodule> .hello2
14:06:53 <zodbot> coremodule: coremodule 'Geoffrey Marr' <gmarr@redhat.com>
14:08:10 <pwhalen> ok, seems we have a few people, lets get started
14:08:20 <pwhalen> #topic 1) ==== Working Group process and admin  ====
14:09:30 <pwhalen> I dont think we have anything here, anyone have anything to discuss?
14:10:41 <pwhalen> #topic 2) ==== Fedora 30 Test Day ====
14:11:05 <pwhalen> #info Testday scheduled next Wednesday March 13th
14:11:24 <pwhalen> thanks for joining coremodule
14:11:53 <alciregi> we have specific test cases?
14:11:57 <coremodule> pwhalen, sure! Is there anything in specific that the IoT group needs from QA for the test day prep or execution next week?
14:12:22 <pwhalen> alciregi, the ticket is here - https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/issue/581
14:12:31 <alciregi> I see
14:12:44 <pwhalen> we've started to discuss what we can reuse, but we will need to write a couple
14:13:03 <pwhalen> I see you were asked to help with the rpi3, but I am happy to write that up
14:13:49 <pwhalen> and I missed a couple of things we should like test, rollback and rebase as lbrabec mentioned
14:14:58 <pwhalen> coremodule, assistance putting it all together, pointing me to existing ostree testcases where possible
14:16:06 <pwhalen> iot folks, if you can read over the ticket and see there things we should be testing that I missed
14:16:12 <coremodule> pwhalen, can do, I will look around for what we have that is still relevant and send it your way on the ticket
14:16:27 <pwhalen> coremodule, perfect. thank you
14:17:59 * pbrobinson o/
14:18:02 <pwhalen> pxe installs, completely agree. I test those but not sure others will have the setup
14:18:30 <pwhalen> howdy pbrobinson
14:20:18 <pwhalen> if folks could read it over and make suggestions in the ticket that would be great.
14:22:47 <pwhalen> #topic 3) ==== F29 Release 2 ====
14:23:10 <pbrobinson> big one here is still the RPi issue
14:23:15 <pbrobinson> it's driving me insane
14:24:01 <pwhalen> I've tried to poke it as well with no success
14:25:29 <pwhalen> do we have a contingency plan to get the release out?
14:25:29 <pbrobinson> from an error i managed to get this week I believe it's related to the MMC controller, but it's baffling as to what/why, trying to extract more debug
14:25:55 <pbrobinson> no, because it's not like it's useful with out a working RPi
14:28:16 <pwhalen> ok, anything else for release 2?
14:28:36 <pbrobinson> not from my pov
14:28:45 <tdawson> Is it building for x86_64?
14:29:13 <pbrobinson> tdawson: we need a fix for the ks because of shitty anaconda and their inability to read specs
14:29:25 <pbrobinson> tdawson: but the installer is fine
14:29:34 <tdawson> pbrobinson: OK, so the x86_64 failure is known and fixable ... ok
14:30:06 * tdawson notes his fingers like typing "ok"
14:31:36 <pwhalen> heh
14:31:48 <pwhalen> #topic 4) ==== Fedora 30 ====
14:32:19 <pwhalen> sorry, jumping around a bit, but I wanted to discuss the test day first for our guests
14:32:48 <pwhalen> tdawson, did you want to give an update on the moz-gateway progress?
14:32:54 <tdawson> Sure
14:33:22 <tdawson> All of the packages, but one, have been reviewed, approved, and built for F29,30,31
14:34:07 <tdawson> The one package is mozilla-iot-gateway ... so ... sorta the main package. But it's not for lack of effort from jsmith
14:34:25 <jsmith> I hope to finish the review today
14:34:47 <jsmith> Sorry it's taken so long... but it's a complicated package
14:34:59 <tdawson> Because of the bundled nodejs modules (over 1000), it's taken over 24 hours for the automated review checker to check the licenses.
14:35:13 <pwhalen> yikes, a new record?
14:35:28 <pwhalen> there should be a badge for you jsmith
14:35:29 <tdawson> jsmith: It is complicated, and I/we appreciate your work and efforts on this.
14:35:40 <tdawson> jsmith++
14:35:40 <zodbot> tdawson: Karma for jsmith changed to 4 (for the current release cycle): https://badges.fedoraproject.org/tags/cookie/any
14:35:42 <pwhalen> jsmith++
14:35:43 <jsmith> pwhalen: The "sucker for punishment" badge?
14:35:43 <zodbot> pwhalen: Karma for jsmith changed to 5 (for the current release cycle): https://badges.fedoraproject.org/tags/cookie/any
14:35:57 <pwhalen> jsmith, heh, sounds accurate :)
14:36:24 * pwhalen is happy his karma worked this time
14:36:34 <pwhalen> and thanks tdawson
14:36:39 <pwhalen> tdawson++
14:36:56 <pwhalen> ..but not that time
14:37:19 <tdawson> If/when that package finishes, I have tested it on arm and x86_64. I have tested zigbee, tp-link, and litx smart devices. Works pretty good.
14:38:18 <tdawson> Gateway is still missing logging, but the next release 0.8.0 should have it ... looking forward to that new feature.
14:38:37 <pwhalen> excellent, still need to play around with it
14:39:36 <tdawson> I think that's all I have, unless anyone has any other questions
14:39:37 <pwhalen> #info Fedora 30 Beta Freeze was yesterday (2019-03-05)
14:39:57 <pwhalen> #info Fedora 30 Beta release scheduled for 2019-03-26
14:40:20 <pwhalen> anything else to mention for f30?
14:42:00 <pwhalen> #topic 5) ==== Open Floor ====
14:43:25 <tdawson> Nothing from me
14:43:57 <pbrobinson> nothing from me
