15:01:24 <coremodule> Good morning everyone, who is around today?
15:01:30 * pwhalen is here
15:01:38 * pbrobinson o/
15:01:39 <pwhalen> Good morning!
15:02:13 <coremodule> Good to see you both!
15:02:18 <coremodule> *chat with you both
15:02:42 <coremodule> #topic 1) ==== Working Group process and admin  ====
15:02:43 <coremodule> #link https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/iot/
15:02:54 <coremodule> Anything going for docs/admin this week?
15:03:44 <pwhalen> nothing from me
15:04:25 <pbrobinson> me either
15:04:43 <coremodule> cool, moving on
15:04:45 <coremodule> #topic 2) ==== Fedora 36 status ====
15:04:45 <coremodule> #info Fedora-IoT-36-20220607.0

15:04:45 <pwhalen> there is this - https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/fedora-iot-front-page-revamp-looking-for-feedback/39447
15:04:50 <pwhalen> sorry
15:05:00 <pbrobinson> me build done yesterday
15:05:39 <pwhalen> nice, the zezere issue is gone
15:05:42 <pbrobinson> there's some CVEs for grub2 and friends filtering through so once they go stable I think we'll promote a new build for downloads
15:06:38 <pwhalen> clevis issue needs looking into
15:07:10 <pwhalen> it should also work with aarch64, test might need to be adjusted but it does work now with qemu
15:07:34 <coremodule> interesting. I'll take a look at it after the meeting and plan to get with adamw if needed
15:08:17 <pwhalen> thanks, I need to redeploy my fitlet2 with clevis, it looks like its broken
15:08:41 <pwhalen> clevis auto decryption, not my fitlet2
15:09:17 <coremodule> ahhh, well shoot.
15:09:51 <coremodule> #topic 3) ==== Fedora 37 status ====
15:09:51 <coremodule> #info Fedora-IoT-37-20220516.0
15:09:51 <coremodule> #link https://openqa.fedoraproject.org/tests/overview?distri=fedora&version=37&build=Fedora-IoT-37-20220516.0&groupid=1&groupid=5
15:10:40 <pbrobinson> I'm going to file a bug/PR this week for the compose failure with systemd
15:10:53 <pbrobinson> I feel that's the proper fix for it as a whole
15:11:07 <pwhalen> sounds good
15:12:25 <pwhalen> coremodule: wrt https://pagure.io/fedora-iot/ostree/pull-request/7
15:13:04 * coremodule reads
15:13:05 <pwhalen> to have it fixed in systemd, rather than the workaround
15:16:28 <coremodule> #info pbrobinson to file a bug against systemd to fix missing directory, it seems a more direct approach than the fix pushed by pwhalen
15:16:34 <coremodule> #link https://pagure.io/fedora-iot/ostree/pull-request/7
15:17:50 <coremodule> That's all I had today,
15:18:13 * pwhalen has nothing else
15:18:40 <coremodule> #topic 5) ==== Open Floor ====
15:18:42 <pbrobinson> I have a few bits
15:18:49 <coremodule> pbrobinson, it's all yours
15:19:14 <pbrobinson> it was actually for F-37 too but what ever (I was slow typing)
15:19:28 <pbrobinson> so we have two accepted features for F-37
15:19:29 <coremodule> #undo
15:19:29 <zodbot> Removing item from minutes: <MeetBot.items.Topic object at 0x7fe2d77c55f8>
15:19:38 <pbrobinson> I still have to write the remaining ones
15:19:47 <pbrobinson> we should have IMA signing turned on RSN
15:20:02 <pbrobinson> there is work ongoing to improve this more in infra
15:20:52 <pbrobinson> the osbuild infra is in the final (hopefully) stages of deployment, will probably need a few bits in the osbuild service, but hoping to flip over to all of that "soon"
15:21:31 <pbrobinson> need to review other features we'd like to attempt for F-37 and probably also review HW
15:21:52 <pbrobinson> also working on official (across Fedora) support for RPi4
15:22:00 <pbrobinson> and finish the Jetson nano support for here
15:22:13 <pbrobinson> EOF for F-37 bits
15:23:27 <pwhalen> sounds good
15:23:53 <coremodule> yes, thank you pbrobinson. It will be good to have official support status for rpi4
15:24:26 <pbrobinson> no kidding, the accel GPU bits are in process for being accepted upstream for 5.20
15:24:39 <coremodule> that's great
15:25:14 <pbrobinson> I had to do a bunch of the patches/work myself, with assistance from Stefan
15:26:21 <pbrobinson> open floor?
15:26:59 <coremodule> sure, okay
15:26:59 <coremodule> #topic 5) ==== Open Floor ====
15:27:31 <pbrobinson> Our Fedora Outreachy intern started last week, her name is Rupanshi
15:28:16 <pbrobinson> she will be working on zezere to mirgrate it from the custom ignition service to use FDO (see F-37 feature)
15:29:13 <pbrobinson> I don't think this will be ready for F-37 but the migration path will be happening in a branch upstream in the zezere project github.com/fedora-iot/zezere/
15:29:16 <pwhalen> excellent, welcome Rupanshi!
15:30:00 <pbrobinson> so eventually, probably in the F-38 timeframe, but maybe F-37. that should be greatly improved experience
15:30:48 <pwhalen> heh, coremodule will appreciate. I dont think he's had any success with Zezere
15:31:25 <coremodule> yes, zezere worked for me... many releases ago and never since. it will be good to have someone in our corner working on it.
15:31:32 <coremodule> welcome Rupanshi!
15:32:43 <pbrobinson> I think that's it
15:33:05 <coremodule> cool. Thanks for attending today and thanks for the updates.
