19:09:24
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:09:42
Before they were in !link https://meetbot-raw.fedoraproject.org/fedora-golang/
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:09:48
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:10:13
if that's the case I'll try to dig if we can have the archives all in the same folder, it seems odd to me and counter intuitive
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:10:29
in any case... let's jump into the meeting
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:11:16
We have 3 issues tagged as meeting:
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:11:21
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:11:41
I don't think there is any update in those
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:12:58
https://pagure.io/GoSIG/go-sig/issue/53 is complete iiuc
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:13:23
I've this PR pending for eclipseo to review https://pagure.io/GoSIG/go2rpm/pull-request/33#
<@copperi:fedora.im>
19:15:16
!user hello copperi
<@zodbot:fedora.im>
19:15:17
Jan Kuparinen (copperi)
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:16:06
https://pagure.io/GoSIG/go-sig/issue/42 was merged also, it's the `%gometa -f` change
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:16:43
then we can close that one
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:17:51
Does it need documentation? I checked the packaging guidelines and I don't find the -f
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:17:53
https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/packaging-guidelines/Golang/#_spec_preamble_goipath_forgeurl_and_gometa
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:18:33
I guess so
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:18:54
I'll note that down in the issue and untag it for meeting
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:19:56
the examles also neet to be updated
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:20:37
I commented but the page is slow today
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:21:40
done
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:22:06
should we move to the open floor as we can't do anything else with the tagged issues?
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:23:43
ok
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:23:54
!topic Open floor
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:24:29
From my side to I am planning in bundling the dependencies for Delve and after reading the documentation I don't see if I need to request something before doing it or not. I'm going to do it in a PR like most of the stuff i do, to make my intentions clear, but I wanted to say it here just in case somebody has strong opinions or information
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:27:16
and that's everything I have :D
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:27:37
so you require reviews for new packages rqeuired by delve?
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:28:20
no, right now all of the dependencies are in fedora, the problem is the differences in versions
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:28:29
ok, got it
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:28:42
and delve has around 15 dependencies
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:29:53
I already patched several of them in the past. Upstream doesn't update them that often but they test them thoughtfully. We usually update anything that has a new version and it makes the whole thing a painful experience.
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:30:19
I think is a good case for a bundling.
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:30:59
you know better than anyone if is it or not
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:31:26
I've been working to update node-exporter and will continue with rclone update... but requires some new packages
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:31:34
or maybe I am too lazy to keep it up :D
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:31:55
how many?
<@mikelolasagasti:matrix.org>
19:33:18
no idea, I think it were 5 directs but I don't know how many indirects
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:34:13
well... I know I still have several reviews to do, but feel free to ping me :D
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:36:21
anyone else?
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:38:09
in that case... we can call it for the day.
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:38:17
The next one is the last one of the year :D
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:38:43
grab some champagne for the next one :)
<@alexsaezm:fedora.im>
19:38:46
Thanks everyone!
