18:21:51 <jfoster> The “Art and Practice” is basically “here is what programmers do and here are some things you can do to get there.” I’ve had half a dozen guest speakers; we have someone from the counseling center come talk about personality types, resumes, and internships; we require them to get a LinkedIn account, a GitHub account, and start building a portfolio. The goal is that in 3 years they will look like credible candidates for a job.
