It's in a copr that can be used for testing. 13:59:56 #link https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/jgrulich/Qt_and_GNOME_integration/ 13:59:58 That leaves various other style problems. Dark mode is an issue. So is icon theme breakage. 14:00:00 Icons issue: KDE apps seem to be using Breeze-specific icons? Plasmatube was one example of the icon issue. 14:00:05 Owen: consistency with the desktop is secondary to not being broken 14:00:07 Michael: Fusion looks fine - screenshots of Ubuntu don't have the style issues we're seeing in Fedora 14:00:10 Examples of additional followup adwaita-qt style fixes can be seen here: 14:00:12 #link https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/351#comment-845312 14:00:14 Jan's not against dropping adwaita-qt. You do get issues when apps do custom styling on top of an existing qt style. Maintaining adwaita-qt is a lot of work. Dropping it will eliminate a lot of issues. We could potentially use Breeze if it is installed. 14:00:18 Owen: Despite what I said about the availability of Breeze for Flatpaks - I'd probably prefer that we *consistently* use Fusion within GNOME rather than have Qt apps both ways based on technology. 14:00:21 A KDE runtime is being worked on for Fedora, so Flatpaked KDE apps will have the Breeze theme available 14:00:24 adwaita-qt could still be available for Fedora Media Writer, and it would still need to be around to be used for QGnomePlatform - it just wouldn't be used for the apps 14:00:27 Various options available for Fedora Media Writer - could have the styling internally, or we could investigate using Fusion 14:00:30 #agree We'll stop using adwaita-qt for apps. Michael to summarise in the ticket. 14:00:32 Neal would prefer us to use a different theme other than Fusion - he'll make a suggestion in the ticket 14:00:37 #topic Fedora test day QA results 14:00:39 #link https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/events/150 14:00:41 #link https://testdays.fedoraproject.org/events/151 14:00:43 Lots of crash reports for gnome-contacts 14:00:45 Results and format seems improved since last release.
