01:49:01 <brainycmurf> #info Guests:
01:49:14 <brainycmurf> There are some problems with Toolbx requiring subscription-manager, apparently subscription manager prints extra messages into DNF output, DNF is preinstalled on Silverblue
01:49:17 <brainycmurf> The question whether we need Subscription manager in Fedora, only Tomas in favor.
01:49:19 <brainycmurf> It would be good if subscription manager had a simpler CLI/API for Fedora without all the advanced bits so we could include it.
01:49:22 <brainycmurf> Another option could be if subscription manager would be part of the Toolbx image
01:49:24 <brainycmurf> Outcome: Working group is not in favor of including the subscription manager in its current form in Fedora.

01:49:39 <brainycmurf> There will be upstream GNOME work made by "verde" to further improve the current situation ("xwayland" branch that Jonas was working on) and also some small changes are required in the proposed UI in the GNOME Control Center. Michael, Kalev and Neal mentioned that we're pushing this in front of us for several Fedora releases and we might be losing users because of this (as i.e. Ubuntu does have some downstream changes
01:49:44 <brainycmurf> that enable it) and we might only allow ourselves just one final slip. We will check in few months how the upstream work looks like.
