Every solution Neal has proposed has been rejected. Least controversial option would be doing what Ubuntu is doing, which requires manual intervention. 19:04:42 Neal, it works with Ubuntu because the manual interventions required are required in their installation, showing the MOK Util steps. No one in Fedora wants to do that. 19:04:45 Michael, non-interactivity is a core tenant of packagekit 19:04:47 Neal, I've gone over this for three years, and there's nothing but roadblocks 19:04:49 Michael, there are many challenges and we haven't found a path forward, 19:04:51 Neal gives up and wants it all ripped out 19:04:53 Consensus to remove it as an option in GNOME Software by removing appstream data 19:04:55 #topic Downloading updates in Software failing due to Google Chrome repo signing 19:04:57 #link https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation/issue/409 19:04:59 Deferred 19:05:01 #topic Announcements and status updates 19:05:05 Deferred 19:05:07 #topic Minutes from last week 19:05:09 #link https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-meeting-2/2024-02-06/workstation.2024-02-06-17.31.log.html 19:05:12 #endmeeting
