INFO: The Fedora Matrix homeserver went through a major upgrade this week. If you use Matrix on your mobile device with a fedora.im account, you can now use the Element X client! INFO: The Fedora Council will host its annual meeting, the Strategy Summit, in February 2026. This will be an opportunity for the Council to work on the important issues and topics relevant to the Fedora community. There is a clear intersection with some governance topics that relates to budget and funding accessibility conversations that has taken place in the DEI Team over the last several months. INFO: For Mentor Summit 2026, there was positive feedback about the three primary sessions we organized around Flock 2025: the Sticker Match session, the Mentor Match over the conference lunch, and the Contributor Recognition Award presented at the end of Flock. (@jflory7:fedora.im, 16:54:07)
