so if you follow the list you would have seen that mailman was hammering the database. Adding that index really really helped. However, there's still a lot of activity on the db01 server. We are logging slow queries there, so perhaps we could look at fixing some of those. I see koschei, mirrormanager and others in there.

Yep, for my change proposal there's the need to install a (new) plugin on koji hub/koji builders and I'm wondering if you prefer a PR to the ansible roles or to go through issues.
